Company History
Adapx was originally established in 1999 as Natural Interaction Systems
(NIS), which was a spin-off of the Oregon Graduate Institute (now,
Oregon Health and Science University). With more than 15 years of
research, along with significant investments by the Defense Advanced
Research Projects Agency, the Office of Naval Research, and the National
Science Foundation, Adapx has developed patented multimodal digital
paper technology for our clients.
