Welcome to Capturx Forms Service and Capturx for SharePoint! Written for customers and partners, this document addresses issues that are not discussed in the User Guide. This document may be updated periodically as more information becomes available.

New Enhancements in Capturx Forms Service/Capturx for SharePoint 2.3.3

Version 2.3.3 includes these updates:

• Compatibility with iOS 7 installed on iPads
• Bug fix related to duplicate digital pen ink and the use of the Capturx eraser feature

Note: If you are a current Capturx iPad user and are upgrading from iOS 6 to iOS 7, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Upload all local forms saved on your iPad, so that all data is on the server
2. Go to Safari in the iPad’s Settings and select “Clear Cookies and Data”
3. Install iOS 7
4. Download your form templates again

Capturx for SharePoint 2010 Requirements:
Server: Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft SharePoint 2010 SP1 (Foundation, Standard, or Enterprise)

Client PC: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8 (32- or 64-bit); Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10, Firefox 21, or Chrome 27; Form Design requires Office 2007 SP2, 2010, or 2013 (32-bit only).

Windows Tablet: Tablet PC versions of Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, or Windows 8 Desktop (32- or 64-bit); Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10, Firefox 21, or Chrome 27

iPad: iPad2 or later, iPad mini; iOS 6.x, iOS 7.x; Adobe Reader iPad app (optional)

Capturx Forms Service Requirements:
Client PC: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8 (32- or 64-bit); Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10, Firefox 21, or Chrome 27; Form Design requires Office 2007 SP2, 2010, or 2013 (32-bit only).

Supported Versions of Capturx Client Software
Version 2.3.3 is compatible with the Capturx Print Utility 1.6.5 (or later), Capturx Pen Manager 3.4 (or later), Capturx Mobile for BlackBerry 1.6 (or later), and Capturx Forms for Excel 1.2.1 (or later).

Earlier versions of the client applications are not supported.

For Capturx Forms Service, you can download the most recent Capturx Pen Manager and Capturx Print Utility from the Capturx Forms Service Resource Center (https://cfs2010.capturx.com/ResourceCenter/home).

For Capturx for SharePoint, you can request a download link from Adapx Technical Support.

Items of Note – iPads
Using Form Lifecycles with iPads
The “Legacy” form lifecycle must be used if you have iPad users who edit or approve forms. Newly published form templates will default to the “Simple” form lifecycle, so you will need to update them to use Legacy. If you have a hybrid environment of digital pen users and iPad users, and want to use a different form lifecycle, please work with your Solution Engineer to address the requirement.

Safari Settings
To use Capturx on your iPad, do not use Private Browsing Mode, disable JavaScript, or block Cookies.
