Question
Why do I see an “Unable to connect to server” message after entering my information in the “General Configuration” screen and selected to save my settings?
Answer
If your mobile device has access to the network (signal strength), you’re able to send and receive emails, and your typed login information is correct, it’s possible that your TLS setting needs to be changed. Follow these steps to fix:
On your BlackBerry, go to:
1. Options
2. Security Options
3. TLS
4. If the “TLS Default” is set to “Proxy”, please update the default to be “Handheld”.
